After your deal is paid for, the checkout page is where you confirm rebates, download your deal sheet, and set up your account.
Checkout (/checkout) is the page you land on after payment already succeeded. You should see "Thank you for your purchase!" Here you confirm rebates, download your deal sheet, and register or log in. This is not a pre-pay order summary.
Before you start
- Pay first: Complete Your Payment.
- Have an email and password ready if you're creating an account.
A "rebate" is manufacturer or dealer money that lowers the lease price. Full walkthrough: Select Rebates & Incentives.
Steps
When the checkout page (/checkout) opens, it loads your deal and any rebates available for your car and area. You'll see a spinner for a moment while this happens.
1. Review and select any rebates
If LeaseMax finds rebates you might be eligible for, a window appears titled "One more thing." with the question "Are you eligible for any of these money-saving rebates?"
- Read each rebate listed. Every rebate shows its name and its dollar value.
- Select any rebate that applies to you by checking it. (You can pick more than one.)
- For rebates with an information icon, you can open a short description that explains who qualifies and what the rebate is for.
- If there are many rebates, use the left and right arrows to move between pages.
- When you're done, choose Continue to save your selections.
Only select rebates you actually qualify for. These get attached to your deal, so honest selections keep your numbers accurate.
2. Download your deal sheet
On the main checkout page you'll see "Thank you for your purchase!" along with a preview of your deal sheet: the written summary of the lease you built, ready to take to a dealership.
- Select Download to open your deal sheet.
- Save or print it from there so you have your numbers in hand.
3. Set up your account (or sign in)
The checkout page also helps you create an account so you can come back to your deal anytime. The panel highlights what an account gives you, including the ability to access, update, and personalize your deals, keep everything in one place, save with bundle discounts, and unlock exclusive tips.
- Your Email is shown in the email field. If it's already filled in from your deal, it stays locked so it matches your purchase.
- Enter a Password. Use the eye icon to show or hide what you type.
- Choose Register to create your account.
- If you already have an account, the button reads Login instead: just enter your password and select it to sign in.
- Once you're registered or signed in, LeaseMax takes you to your dashboard.
New passwords must be at least 8 characters and include one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.
Troubleshooting
- The page sits on a loading spinner. Your deal and rebates are still loading. Give it a moment. If it never finishes, refresh the page.
- You were sent away from checkout. If your deal can't be found or opened, LeaseMax redirects you to the landing page rather than show an empty checkout. This usually means the link is missing your deal details or the deal is no longer available. Go back and reopen your deal, then complete payment again if needed.
- No rebate window appeared. That's normal: it only shows when LeaseMax finds rebates for your car and ZIP code. If none apply, you simply move straight to your deal sheet and account setup.
- The Download button doesn't open anything. Your deal sheet needs a valid deal to open. If nothing happens, return to your deal and try again, or sign in to your dashboard to find it there.
- You see a registration or login error. The message under the form explains what to fix: usually a password that doesn't meet the requirements, or sign-in details that don't match. Adjust and try again.
