LeaseMax Help

Reset a Forgotten Password

Request a reset email, set a new password, then sign in.

If you can't remember your LeaseMax password, set a new one in two parts: request a reset email, then use the link to choose a new password.

Before you start

  • Have access to the inbox for the email on your account.
  • Know the password rules below so you can pick a valid new password the first time.

Part 1: Request a reset email

Start from the login page by selecting Forgot Password?, or go to /forgot-password. The screen is titled Reset Your Password.

  1. In the Email box, type the email address for your account.

  2. Select Send Link (or press Enter).

  3. You'll see a confirmation like:

If the email is registered, we'll send you a link to reset your password.

  4. Open your inbox, find the LeaseMax message, and select the reset link.

For security, LeaseMax shows the same confirmation whether or not the address has an account. If no email arrives, double-check the address and that you have an account.

Part 2: Set your new password

The link opens Reset Your Password at /reset-password with two password boxes.

  1. New Password: type the password you want.
  2. Repeat New Password: type it again. Use the eye icon to show or hide.
  3. Select Reset (or press Enter).

When it works, LeaseMax opens your dashboard. This reset flow does not sign you in automatically. You'll usually be sent to login and should sign in with your new password.

If you land on login (or the dashboard asks you to log in), use Log In with the password you just set.

Password requirements

  • At least 8 characters.
  • At least one uppercase letter (A–Z).
  • At least one lowercase letter (a–z).
  • At least one number (0–9).
  • At least one special character (for example !, ?, #, or $).
  • No spaces.

Changing password while already signed in

If you know your current password and are logged in, change it from Profile instead of this email flow. See Update Your Profile (pencil next to Password → Change your PasswordUpdate).

Troubleshooting

  • "Invalid email address." (Part 1): Use a full address like name@example.com.
  • "An error happened. Please try again.": Wait a moment and try again.
  • "Please fill all the fields" (Part 2): Fill both password boxes.
  • "Passwords do not match": Make both boxes identical, or request a fresh email link if the reset link looks incomplete or expired.
  • "Password must have at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character": Meet every rule above (and remove spaces).
  • Link expired or broken. Request a new link in Part 1 and use the newest email.
