Create an Account
Sign up for LeaseMax in a few minutes: fill in your name, phone, email, and password, and land straight on your dashboard.
Creating a LeaseMax account lets you save your lease deals, buy plans, and pick up right where you left off. It only takes a minute. This article walks you through the sign-up form field by field, including the password rules, and shows you what happens once you register.
Before you start
- Have your phone number and an email address you can check ready.
- Choose a password you'll remember that meets the requirements below.
Steps
Go to the sign-up page at /sign-up. You'll see a short form titled Sign Up! with four boxes to fill in.
- Name: type your name in the Name box.
- Phone Number: enter your phone number in the Phone Number box. It's fine to type just the digits; LeaseMax formats the number for you as you go.
- Email: enter your email address in the Email box. This is the address you'll use to log in later.
- Password: enter a password in the Password box. Use the eye icon at the right of the box to show or hide what you typed so you can check it.
- Select the Register button to create your account. You can also just press Enter from any box.
If you arrived at sign-up from an email link or an earlier step, your email may already be filled in for you and shown with a small lock icon. That's expected: it means the address is set and you only need to complete the other boxes.
Password requirements
Your password must meet all of these rules, or LeaseMax won't let you register:
- At least 8 characters long.
- At least one uppercase letter (A–Z).
- At least one lowercase letter (a–z).
- At least one number (0–9).
- At least one special character (for example
!,?,#, or$). - No spaces.
If your password doesn't meet every rule, you'll see this message and registration will stop:
Password must have at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character
Just adjust your password until it meets all the rules, then select Register again.
What happens next
When your account is created, LeaseMax signs you in automatically and takes you to your dashboard: your home base for saved deals and account settings. From there you can build a deal, explore plans, and manage your profile.
Troubleshooting
- "Password must have at least 8 characters…": Your password is missing one of the requirements above. Add an uppercase letter, a number, a special character, or more length as needed, and remove any spaces.
- A message says the email is already in use. An account already exists for that email address. Head to the log-in page and sign in instead, or use Reset a Forgotten Password if you don't remember your password.
- Nothing happens after you select Register. Double-check that every box is filled in and that your email looks complete (for example,
name@example.com). If a red message appears under the button, read it: it explains what to fix. - The Email box is locked and you can't change it. That means your email was set from a link you followed. If it's wrong, return to the page or link that brought you here and start again with the correct address.
