Privacy Policy & Terms

Where to find Privacy Policy and Terms, and what they cover in plain English.

Before you share your details or build a deal, it's worth knowing how LeaseMax handles your information and the basic rules for using the service. LeaseMax publishes two documents for this: a Privacy Policy and a set of Terms and Conditions. This article shows you where to find each one, summarizes what they cover in plain English, and explains how to read the full text.

This article is a plain-language overview to help you find your way around. The actual Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions pages are the official versions: always read those for the complete, exact wording.

Where to find each document

  • Privacy Policy: open the page at /privacy-policy.
  • Terms and Conditions: open the page at /terms.

Both links are also available in the Legal column at the bottom of the page (in the footer), labeled Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. Both documents show a Last Updated date at the top so you can see when they last changed.

What the Privacy Policy covers

The Privacy Policy explains how LeaseMax collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information. In plain terms, it covers:

  • What's collected: contact details (such as your name, email, and phone number), payment information (such as card details and billing address), information about your lease preferences and inquiries, and technical data (like your IP address and browser type) gathered automatically through cookies or analytics.
  • How it's used: to provide and improve the service, process your lease inquiries and generate reports, communicate with you about your account or support, analyze usage, and meet legal obligations.
  • Data sharing: LeaseMax states it does not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as needed to provide the service (for example, secure payment processing) or to comply with the law.
  • Storage and security: your information is stored on secure servers using industry-standard encryption, and kept only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal requirements.
  • Your rights: depending on where you live (for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act for California residents), you may be able to access your information, request that it be corrected or deleted, and opt out of certain uses.
  • Cookies and tracking: the service may use cookies and similar tools, and you can manage your preferences through your browser settings.
  • Geographic scope: the policy applies to users in the United States.
  • Changes and contact: the policy may be updated over time, with a new "Last Updated" date, and the page lists how to reach LeaseMax with questions.

What the Terms and Conditions cover

The Terms and Conditions are the basic rules for using LeaseMax. By using the service, you agree to them. In plain terms, they cover:

  • Use of service: you agree to use LeaseMax only for lawful purposes and to keep your account and password confidential.
  • Intellectual property: the content, features, logos, and software on LeaseMax belong to LeaseMax or its licensors and are protected by law.
  • Limitation of liability: the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and the document limits LeaseMax's liability for certain damages.
  • Changes to the terms: the Terms may be updated over time, with a new "Last Updated" date, and continued use means you accept the updates.
  • Contact: the page lists how to reach LeaseMax with questions.

How to read them in full

  1. Go to /privacy-policy or /terms (or use the Legal links in the footer).
  2. Read from the top down: both pages are organized into clearly labeled sections with headings, so you can skim to the part you care about.
  3. Note the Last Updated date at the top so you know which version you're reading.
  4. If you have a question about either document, use the Contact Us details listed at the bottom of the page to get in touch.

Troubleshooting

  • A page looks blank or cut off. Refresh the page and make sure you're online. These are simple text pages, so giving them a moment to load usually fixes it.
  • You can't find the links. On the homepage and legal pages, scroll to the bottom and look for the Legal heading in the footer. Login, dashboard, and checkout screens may not show that footer: open the homepage or go directly to /privacy-policy or /terms.
  • You're not sure what a section means for you. This article and the pages themselves are summaries and official text: they're not personalized legal advice. If you need help understanding how something applies to your situation, reach out using the contact details on the page.
