Complete Your Payment
Pay for your finished lease deal safely: from the reassurance step through secure Stripe payment, or the on-page card form when you see it.
When your deal is ready, you pay a one-time amount to unlock your full report and deal sheet. Most shoppers pay on a secure Stripe page after a short reassurance step. Some deals still show a card form inside LeaseMax.
Payment is where you pay. The page named checkout (/checkout) comes after payment succeeds. That's where you confirm rebates, download your deal sheet, and create or sign in to your account. See Check Out.
Before you start
- You've already built a deal and filled in your name, email, and phone when asked.
- Have a payment card ready.
- You do not always land on
/payment. Many deals go through a short reassurance page first, then a secure payment page run by Stripe.
Card details are handled by a trusted payment processor (Stripe). LeaseMax does not store your full card number.
The usual path (reassurance → secure payment)
1. Finish your deal and choose a plan (if offered)
After you build a deal, LeaseMax may show plan cards (for example Get Report! or Get Bundle!). Names and prices come from LeaseMax and can change: read the card in front of you. See Preview Plans Before Signup.
2. Read the reassurance page
You'll often land on /deal/reassurance. This page is before payment. It previews your report and explains that LeaseMax works for you, not the dealership.

3. Start secure payment
Select Get your report here. LeaseMax sends you to a secure Stripe payment page (you leave LeaseMax briefly). Enter your card there and complete payment.
4. What happens on success
After payment succeeds, you return to LeaseMax on the thank-you / checkout page (/checkout), where you'll see "Thank you for your purchase!" From there you can:
- Confirm any rebates you qualify for.
- Download your deal sheet.
- Register or Login so the deal lives on your dashboard.

If you see a card form on LeaseMax (/payment)
If payment stays inside LeaseMax at /payment instead of sending you to Stripe:
What's on the screen
- The payment card: total, plan tag, and secure card fields.
- On a computer: short rotating slides about banks, working for you (not dealerships), and unlimited quotes.
- On a phone: title "Your Deal is Ready!" and a single short video.
Steps on the card form
- Check the Total and plan tag.
- Confirm or enter your email (for your receipt and account).
- Enter card number, expiration, and security code (plus any billing fields shown).
- Select Pay. Wait for the spinner. Don't close the page.
- On success, you're sent to
/checkoutwith "Thank you for your purchase!"
Rebates lower the lease price on your deal sheet. They are not subtracted from this one-time payment total.
Paying for more credits when you're signed in
From the dashboard, Add More Credits opens /bundles-plans. After you choose a plan (Get Report! or Get Bundle!), you're sent to a secure Stripe page: not the post-payment thank-you page. See Plans & Bundles and How Credits Work.
Paying for other-bank quotes
Unlocking outside-bank options may show "Redirecting to secure payment…", then Stripe. See Pay for Other Bank Quotes. After that purchase you return to the dashboard, not /checkout.
Troubleshooting
- You expected to enter a card on LeaseMax but were sent to Stripe. That's normal for most report payments and for buying credits.
- Card declined or payment error (on-page form). Check number, expiration, security code, and billing details, or try another card, then Pay again.
- Pay button greyed out. Wait for the secure form to finish loading.
- Sent back to the start. Payment wasn't finished or timed out. Reopen your deal and start payment again.
- Stuck after Pay. Wait a few seconds; avoid refreshing. Check for an error under the form.
